Betting odds have been released for the Group 2 CB Cox Stakes, which is scheduled to run at Ascot Racecourse tomorrow December 21, 2013.
Luckygray is the current favourite to win the 2013 CB Cox Stakes and is paying odds of $3.60 at Ladbrokes.com.au.
The six-year-old won the Group 1 Railway Stakes at Ascot on November 23, 2013, after a patchy start to his 2014 racing season.
Luckygray wasn’t at his best during the Melbourne Spring, with his best result being a sixth in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes in September.
However, he turned his form around upon returning to his home town of Perth and will now be out to win the 2013 CB Cox Stakes.
Luckygray placed second in his most recent start in the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic and will be looking to go one better in tomorrow’s race.
The Bradbury’s Luck gelding has won 13 of his 27 race starts and has earned more than $2.56 million in prize money during his career.
Second favourite to win the 2013 CB Cox Stakes at ladbrokes.com.au is Ihtsahymn, who is paying odds of $3.80.
Ihtsahymn has won five of his nine race starts and has earned more than $628,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.
The three-year-old won the Kingston Town last start and is after another Group victory to add to his ever expanding resume.
Third favourite for the 2013 CB Cox Stakes is presently Mr Moet at $4.50, while the least backed runners at ladbrokes.com.au are Talent Show and Moonlight Bay at $61.
